What makes your tanning experience at
Tangles House of Hair Design & Tanning so different?

We have “PURETAN” beds & bulbs. Our bulbs develop a bronze color when used consecutively. You develop a faster tan with more of the bronzing color rather than the reddening effect. They also allow you a pleasurable rest.

Our beds are upstairs away from the Hair Salon. Each room has an air conditioner, table fan and body fans; thus almost eliminating sweating. All beds are cleaned after each client use and room inspected to assure a clean atmosphere.

Your tanning sessions are timed and monitored by a “Smart Tan” certified staff member. Your time will be discussed at each visit when you begin to build your base tan, to assure you the best possible results. When you have reached the maximum time, we continue to monitor how often you tan.

MATAHARI-Who is the Matahari client?
The Matahari client is more sophisticated, upscale, and generally female tanner who views her tanning experience as a luxurious escape for the mind and body. She enjoys pampering herself with spa visits and aromatherapy treatments. Matahari products, presented in a 3-step system, contain exotic ingredients and premium tanning technologies that deliver seductive results. Matahari products contain anti-aging, firming and moisturizing ingredients.

CALIFORNIA TAN-Who is the California Tan client?
The California Tan client is anyone who wants to look and feel their best. There is a California Tan product for everyone, whether they are a beginning or advanced tanner. It is the most recognized tanning brand and offers the largest variety of products to meet all tanning needs. The 3-step Tanning System, combined with its scientifically-based tanning formulas, is unprecedented and the most effective program for any tanner seeking faster, darker, and longer-lasting tanning results.

EMERALD BAY-Who is the Emerald Bay Client?
Emerald Bay captures the attention of younger, spirited tanners seeking fun tan accelerator products and tropical tanning results. Its creative tanning cocktails offer a simple approach to tanning at an affordable price. Emerald Bay tends to be popular among high school and college-age tanners or anyone who has been using a tanning lotion bought outside of the salon.

The 3-step system includes:

Step 1 --- help build a base tan and are considered an Accelerator.

Step 2 --- advances deep, dark tanning results beyond the tanning plateau and are considered Maximizers.

Step 3 --- Tan extending moisturizing lotions, gels, SPF’s, body washes and body scrubs.

At Tangles, we care about your skin! Our Step 3’s are 50% off everyday!!!

All of our lotions can be mixed with an SPF for outdoor use.
